PREAMBLE The Vidyalaya is situated on Gurdaspur - Mukerian road inside the cantt at a distance of about 10 km from Gurdaspur. This vidyalaya was established in 1976. Over the years, the school progressed and moved into its permanent building having capacity to accommodate three section of each class up to 10^th standard. While one section of Science and one of Humanities in +1, +2. The building has the facility of providing a separate computer centre in addition to Science and Geography laboratories. To ensure the balance development of the personality of each child, house activities like games and sports, Scouts and Guides, Adventure activities are organized.

Kendriya Vidyalaya  Sangathan is the premier pacesetting  organization in the field of school –education in India Under the valuable guidance & direction of the think –tank of K.V.S every Kendriya Vidyalaya  contributes in its own humble way to the strength , influence & presence of K.V.S in setting new milestones on the Nation al Highway of school –education .Kendriya Vidyalaya Tibri cantt . which is the only Kendriya  vidyalaya between Mukerian in Distt. HoshiarPur (pb) and Amritsar and is situated amidst clear & green surrounding of Military  Station Gurdaspur Cantt enters to the education needs of the children of Army and Civil personnel stationed at Tibri Cantt, Gurdaspur and surrounding area. Rich & vast infrastructure of the Vidyalaya including well designed ,spacious airy &well furnished class rooms ,two separate computer labs for the senior and the Junior student ,separate and well furnished laboratories for Physics, Chemistry ,Biology & Maths :Vast and well maintained play –field for Football , Hockey ,Basketball, Volleyball ,Handball ,kabaddy, Badminton and Athletics and highly qualified ,talented ,hardworking &motivated staff of nearly 55 persons are main assets of this Vidyalaya. Apart from the K.V.S. guidance & help we fortunate to have   always received  from time very valuable help and from the station Head Quarter and variour Army units Attached with the Army Brigades being commanded at present by  Brig. J S Arora.   and Brig Saravjit Singh class _wise student Strength ,the school faculty ,the activities /games organization in the Vidyalaya ,the result of board classes etc.  We shall try to keep the website updated so that it always remain s a useful &purposeful source of information . All suggestions from every corner are always a welcome.
